Our tours are offered on weekdays at 9 AM, 10 AM, 12 PM and 2 PM and last approximately 45 minutes to an hour. During the 2022-2023 school year, tours will be unavailable during the following times:
Tours during the summer are limited and subject to availability of tour guides.
No, tours offered by JCA are of Weimer Hall only, the home of the UF College of Journalism & Communications.
Walking In-Person Tours of the UF College of Journalism & Communications can last for an average of 45 minutes to an hour. Virtual Tours are typically 30-45 minutes and Self-Guided Virtual Tours are about 10 minutes.
Our tour guides are full-time students as well as some of the most involved members of the CJC community. We ask that you schedule your tour at least 5 business days in advance. This will allow us to try to accommodate your tour request.
Once you have submitted your request, we will contact you by email within two business days. Please allow extra time during school holidays. If you do not receive a response within two business days, first check your spam folder and then feel free to contact us again by emailing jcatours@gmail.com to check on the status of your tour.
We suggest you bring water, comfortable shoes, and lots of questions!
Yes! If you are booking for more than 10 people on behalf of an organization or group, use THIS FORM Please note this only refers to In-Person Walking tours.
Yes, we do provide impromptu tours on a limited basis. However, a trained JCA guide may not be available. For the best experience, please attempt to schedule a tour via the tour scheduling system, if possible.
